

She then moved to San Pedro and was employed by Marine Hardware, in management. She returned to Fresno in 1946 to assist in the care of her mother, and began working for Rodders shoes on Mariposa St. in management and retail for a number of years. In 1948, she met the love of her life, and after a short romance, married Alex C. Bulaich. He became "her Alex" and they literally lived happily ever after.
Throughout their marriage, Alex and Nettie touched the lives of many children in the Fresno area. they opened their home and their hearts, and shared their genuine love and compassion, along with lots and lots of humor. These same children have grown into adults living throughout the world who are better people today because of their good fortune in knowing and loving Nettie and Alex.
Nettie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was always up-to-date on current affairs and voiced her concerns to the City Council many times throughout her life. In her 90's, she traveled to Maui for the first time and participated in whale watching, while enjoying beautiful sunsets. Always a classy lady, her presence made it fun for all attending treasuring the beauty of every moment all the more because of the enthusiasm and energy she brought to it.

Nettie was a member of the All Slavonic American Association and the Serbian Mothers Club and is survived by many cousins as well as her extended families throughout the world.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Church, on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
