

Pamela Jean (Hodges) Hughes was born to Huey and Alma Hodges in Lynwood, CA on May 11, 1952. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 08, 2014, and is now in Heaven with God. Pam was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tranquillity, CA. and often attended The Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel, CA.
Pam spent her early years in the small town of San Joaquin. There she met, and fell in love with Gary Hughes of Tranquillity. The two lived in Tranquillity for several years, raising two young children, before moving to Kerman in 1991. Pam loved to travel with Gary, her husband of 42 years, throughout the world including Europe, Asia, and several locations around North America.
Her loving children, Jeremy Hughes and his wife Allison, and Heather (Hughes) Hammack and husband Marc, all of Clovis survive her. Her loving grandchildren, whom she adored, Garrett and Hailey Hughes, and Ava and Braydon Hammack, also survive her. She loved teasing and spending time with her grandchildren. Gigi, as she was affectionately known to them, was a wonderful grandmother and will be greatly missed. Her loving siblings, Wendy Pendergrass of Kerman, Sherry Corbin of Fresno, Cindy Meyers of Michigan, Huey Hodges Jr. and Timmy Hodges of Clovis also survive her.
Visitation Services will be held at Stephens and Bean on Monday May 12, 2014 from 2pm -7pm. Funeral Services will be held at Stephens and Bean on Tuesday May 13, 2014, at 10am followed by graveside services at Belmont Memorial Gardens.
