I met Pat approximately 24 years ago when I had come into her home to help her mom and she immediately recruited me to become a LARC member. How could I say no to Pat? I was in LARCS for several years with her and then when I went inactive, we still kept in touch. My son did his country report on Greece and I asked if he could come over and get some information on Greece and give us a Greek cookie recipe. We came over, spent some time with her, and then she offered to make cookies for his entire 6th grade class. I kept telling her to give me the recipe and I would make the cookies but she insisted. That's just the kind of lady she was...generous, loving, caring, classy, woman of faith and beautiful on the inside and out!! I will never forget her and I love her dearly! I was in my mid 20's when I met her and I would say "I want to be her when I grow up..." I hope to be half the woman she is. Miss you already, Pat! Our deepest condolences and prayers to her family!
Love, Leah Orlando and family

Flowers leave part of their fragrance on the hands that bestow them. May 30, 2014 my dear friend Pat sent this beautiful bouquet to me. A lovely note was included that was so typical of her. Warm hearted people always seem to find a way to make others feel good. Pat added sparkle and joy to the many lives that she touched. She was a wonderful caring example of how we all should try to live. I am grateful to God that I was blessed by Pat's friendship. May she rest in eternal peace.

Dearest, Pat. I've known you since childhood and always felt that same warmth all through the years whenever we chanced to meet. I cried and cried when your name appeared in the obits. Mom, Ken, and I will miss your smile. Rest in peace. My heart goes out to Tom and the rest of your family.

Pat was a class act in so many ways. We became friends in the LA Comida Guild and one day when talking about our families, we realized we knew so many of the same people in San Francisco (my relatives included ). When she found out my mother graduated from George Washington High School in San Francisco, she called me one day and asked me to come over because she found a 1939 George Washington High class picture at a yard sale. She actually purchased the photograph just so she could give it to me. Oh my, I was so touched by her generous gesture♥️
One afternoon, she invited my sister Debbie and I over for lunch and oh what a lovely time we had. She showed us through her lovely home, explained all the memorabilia, what an amazing life and family she had. Generous and kind was who she was and I know for a fact she was loved by everyone in our Guild.
I will miss you my sweet dear Pat ❣️

A, wonderful and most gracious lady we have ever met.
She, was loved by all in her neighborhood and beyond. We had the pleasure of her company many times through the years. Enjoyed, the beautiful white roses in her front yard and the rest of us in the neighborhood have planted the same white roses in her honor over the years. There is not enough words to describe how we all will miss her. Our condolence's to all of her family and close friends.
With love and respect.

Dear Tom, Michael, Rick,
Αιώνια η μνήμη! The pages turn in our lives and each day brings us closer to Christ. We never know of that days arrival. Pat, was a blessing to our family. Always so loving, giving and selfless in the contributions to the community, her church, her friends and family. We have lost a leader. God, has brought her into the fold, she has joined all those who went before. She is in Heaven now, sitting, having those great conversations with all our loved ones. It’s up to us now, to carry the mantle of strength, leadership, service and to be the benefactor of giving generosity when we can. Your Mom assisted me in accomplishing those goals. Let that be her loving memory. Love, Dorothy and Joann Skoufis

My deepest sympathy to the Kourafas Family. Pat was a delightful personality, friendly, cheerful, and fun to be around. She was always on the go, socializing with friends, and volunteering her time to her favorite causes. I will always remember how kind and friendly she was when we would have a chance meeting. She will be missed, but not forgotten
