Patricia "Pat" Ann Adams Cassity

Patricia was born in Lemon Cove, CA on October 2, 1936; she went home to the Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat grew up in Woodlake, California and graduated from Woodlake High School in 1953. She was married to James Adams, also of Woodlake, for 53 years. They raised three wonderful children, Jimmy, Pamela and David. Pat retired from Wheeling Pacific Mfg.

After living in Woodlake for 62 years, she moved to Clovis in 2007 to be near her children. She moved into "The Woods" senior community where she enjoyed life to the fullest with many wonderful friends. In 2014 she was reunited with Pete Cassity, an elementary school classmate who had loved her from afar for 70 years. She fell in love and they were married in 2014. They had homes in both Clovis and Arkansas.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband James in 2005 and her loving parents William "Dude" and Leora Blankenship.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy and his daughter Jeri and husband Josh Elsasser and great-granddaughter Gwen; her daughter, Pamela and husband Allen Gaad and their children Derek and his wife Lisa of Madera, and Kristina and her husband Brandon Hall of Nevada; her son, David and wife Valerie and daughters Robin and Holly of Maryland; her sister, Lynda Brownell and Don of Madera; and brother, Tom Blankenship and his wife Grace of San Jose; her uncle, Bill Diamond and wife Thelma; and many nieces. nephews, and cousins and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery, on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
