

Paul Posas, Jr. a loving husband, father and great friend to many was called back to Heaven on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the age of 58, where he is now playing his guitar with the angels. He left this earth peacefully surrounded by his wife and two young daughters at their home.
Paul was born to Paul Sr. and Julia Posas on July 29, 1954 in Fresno, Ca., where he was raised and spent the majority of his life. He was a student at Webster Elementary School, Yosemite Jr. High, and McLane and Fresno High Schools.
Paul was recognized and highly respected as one of Fresno's finest guitarists and band leaders. Some of his greatest accom- plishments were opening for Malo with Jorge Santana, Tierra, Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult. He was also honored to be invited to appear on Fox's Great Day news show on a few occasions.
Paul was also an employee at the Fresno Bee, where he worked in the Packaging and Distribution Dept. for 10 years.
But Paul's greatest pride and joy was the family and home he created for his wife and children. He was a very sweet and gentle hus- band and father.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Freddy and Joe.
He leaves behind his wife, Missy; their two daughters, Deanna and Delayna ; his daughter Kristine Posas Salas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by Rec- itation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
