Paula Ledesma

August 6, 1934February 3, 2020

In loving memory of our mother Paula Peres Aldape Ledesma. She was born August 6,1934 to Manuel and Rubena Aladape in Catarina Texas. Paula joined our lord on February 3, 2020.

Paula is survived by her two sisters, Esmerlinda and Concepcion of South Texas. Paula is also survived by Her son Benjamin, and six daughters, Carmel, Leticia, Yolanda, Alicia, Lydia, and Blanca. Paula leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and two fur babies Spanky and Obee.

Special thank you to her good friends and caregivers, Pat, Rosie, Sylvia, Gail, and Margie for their loving care.

Paula was a migrant farm worker who traveled with her husband and children working throughout the United States. She and her family eventually settled in California.

Paula enjoyed shopping, buying antique furniture and jewelry. She loved dressing up, listening to Spanish music, and dancing. She was an avid coffee drinker who looked forward to her morning cup of cafe', paired with her favorite pan dulce, or breakfast cookies.

Paula had a green thumb, and enjoyed spending time in and adding to her flower garden. What she enjoyed most was cooking a great meal for her children, grandchildren, and being surrounded by family.

She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

We will think of you Mom when we see a rose bloom in your flower garden, or when putting on our favorite hand cream or perfume.

Madre we love you always and will miss you beyond palabras, Beautiful Lady.
