Pedro Medina Diaz, born on September 18, 1928, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 97. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and passion in both his professional and personal life.
Pedro was a proud veteran of the Korean War, where he served his country with honor. His commitment to his duties and his bravery were evident throughout his military career.
Outside of his professional achievements, Pedro was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. These hobbies brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect with nature and share memorable moments with friends and family.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Maria Diaz. Pedro was a devoted father to his sons, Pedro Diaz Jr. (Christopher Mar-Diaz) and Adrian Diaz (Cecilia Diaz). He was also a cherished grandfather to Steven Diaz, Valerie Diaz, and Nicholas Diaz.
Funeral Service to honor Pedro's life will be held on December 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at Palm La Paz Funerals & Cremations. Following the service, interment will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706
Serving as pallbearers will be Pedro Diaz Jr., Adrian Diaz, Jose Marticorena, Juvenal Maciel, Steven Diaz, and Christopher Mar-Diaz.
Pedro Medina Diaz will be remembered for his service, his love for the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
