Petros Vardapetian

Petros Vardapetian, 83, was born on January 2, 1943, in Roanne, Rhône-Alpes, France, and passed away on March 18, 2026. Petros was a formal and respectful presence to those who knew him, and his life will be remembered with deep gratitude and enduring esteem. He resided in Fresno, California.

Petros worked for Kaiser Hospital for over 20 years where he was received the "Extra Mile Hero" Award. He had a steady commitment that reflected the dependable and dedicated way he approached his responsibilities and provided for his family.

Petros is survived by spouse Anahit Shogonts; children Arthur Vardapetian, Irina Vardapetian, Angela Avetisyan, and Armen Avetisyan; family member Tamara Vardapetian; and grandchildren Alex, Natalie, Anna, Kristina, Lilit, Urik, and Davit.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Armenian Church, 3767 N. First Street, Fresno, California on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Masis Ararat Cemetery.
