I just now saw this!

Randy and I played in a lot of bands together, he was an amazing sax player.

One summer Randy gave my daughter clarinet lessons, the following school session she rose from playing the very last chair to playing first chair lead clarinet!!

A real testimony to his teaching abilities!

Such a sweet and kind human being!

Wow, not enough room here…Randy was a light in our lives, dear friend, mentor, and fun loving friend! He was a light to this world. His sense of humor, his intellect on any subject, and zest for life made our lives, our world a better place. Randy is deeply missed and our lives are not the same without him. Success is leaving the world a better place because of you…Randy did just this.

Very sad to read that Randy had died.  We were dormmates at San Jose State and had kept in touch ever since.  Although we did not see each other too much after college, I always enjoyed receiving mail from him and talking with him over the telephone - always pleasant!  My condolences to Anita.

Randy and I have been playing music together, in one group or another, since the 7th grade at Hamilton Junior High. Beyond being a gifted musician, and was a wonderful, kind, caring, funny, and loyal friend. He was a treasure, and I think he is probably performing for the Lord even as we speak. Can't wait to join him in Heaven and put a band together!! To Anita, who I never got a chance to get to know, I pray God will continue to care for and comfort you.  Be blessed.

Just saw this! Oh how I loved this cousin in my life. He brought sunshine on a cloudy day! The jokes he told when we were kids (Hilarious) So many great memories growing up and not so many as adults. All our lives take different paths and we meet up again in heaven! Love my Cuz See You Again❤️🥰❤️

So sorry to hear of his passing.  Mr Morris was my sons 5th grade teacher at Wilson Elementary and kept in contact thru his school years and encouraging person.

Randy was the best of my longest and closest friends that anyone could ever have.  Randy wasn’t just one of my longest and closest friends, he was many other peoples’ longest and closest friends as well.   This was the magic of  Randy Morris.
 Randy was an incredibly gifted sax player and was often in demand. He was what I call a “Jekyll and Hyde” player, such a soft personality but a monster on the horn.  His knowledge of jazz was so extensive he had a weekly radio show that broadcast throughout the Fresno area on a local station.  He spent almost 2 hours on the phone with me last year when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, reassuring me that everything was going to be o.k.  
My wife says she can still hear his voice.  I hope we always will.


I am so sorry to hear of Randy's passing.  I met him years ago through my friend Janet Capella.  I would see Randy at the  
Big Red Church and the library.  It was always a pleasure to talk with him.  He was a very soft-spoken and gentle man.  His impact in our community through his teaching career, his music, and being the kind soul he was, will continue for many years to come.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family.  You will be in my prayers. 🙏

I was sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I had known him since grade school. I was looking forward to seeing him again, and meeting you. That meeting is now postponed, but only until a later moment. I pray that the Lord will comfort you in this,  your loss.
