Born on January 2, 1997, in San Jose, California, Raymond was the cherished son of Elvira Castro Hernández and Jesus Manuel Hernández, and the beloved brother of Vanessa Hernández and Crystal Hernández.
Raymond's early education took place at Sierra View Elementary School, Ranchos Middle School, and Minarets High School; all located in Madera, California. He later pursued higher education at Fresno State College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology.
In his professional life, Raymond was dedicated to his work as a mail carrier and also served as a physical therapy aide. His career path was marked by his commitment to helping others and his aspiration to make a difference in the community.
Raymond's personal interests included hiking, going to the beach, gaming, playing sports, and researching cars. He was known for his generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer rides to those in need, particularly his sisters. He was also in training to become a firefighter, a testament to his selfless nature and desire to serve others. Raymond was always described as trustworthy and calm, traits that his family and friends always admired and loved about him.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A visitation for Raymond will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, located at 202 North Teilman Avenue, Fresno, California, on July 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue, starting at 4:00 pm.
