

He attended different schools in Southern California, and graduated in 1967 from Morningside High School, where he was active in cross-country and track and field. He kept in touch with many of his Morningside classmates through the years. He went to college at Redlands University where he majored in History and Political Science. He especially enjoyed his semester abroad in Salzburg, Austria, and he always wanted to return for another trip to Europe.
Reinhard completed his teaching credential at Long Beach State and began teaching special education. He was a teacher for 29 years in Southern California and in the Fresno area. He enjoyed working individually with students and he also loved coaching volleyball and track and field.
Reinhard met Robin, who taught in the classroom next door and they were married in 1983. They had two sons, Matthew and Mark. In 1991, the family moved to Fresno. Both boys still live in the Fresno area.
Reinhard loved going wine tasting, traveling with Robin and his boys, watching sports,
reading, listening to music, playing computer games and visiting with his family. He was a big fan of the Fresno State softball team. Robin and he had front row season tickets for the last ten years.
Reinhard is survived by his wife, Robin, and their two sons, Matthew and Mark; his sister Erika and husband, Kevin; nephew Kevin and wife, Julane, and their son, Jackson; and niece, Andrea and husband, James; and mother-in-law, Eva Ritter.
There will be a family memorial for Reinhard at a later date.
