Ricardo Santos Escalante

On November 15, 1989, Fresno welcomed Ricardo Santos Escalante, a man whose loyalty, laughter, and love for his family shaped every part of his life. Ricardo lived with full heart, chering fiercely for his Raiders, Fresno State, and Dodgers, celebrating every win and pushing through every loss with the same passion he carried into everything he did.

Ricardo was a devoted father, a loving son, a protective brother, and a friend who showed up without hesitation. He cherished family gatherings, long days at the beach, peaceful moments at the lake, and trips to the mountains. If his loved ones were there, Ricardo was happy. His presence made ordinary moments feel like memories worth keeping.

He leaves behind his mother Esmeralda, his father Santos, his brother Martin, and his sister Natalia. Ricardo's greatest pride and joy were his children, his four sons Jeremiah, Ricardo Jr., Noah and Julian, and his his stepchildren P.J., Anna, Eric, Nathaniel, Bella and Elias. He is also remembered by countless family members and friends who love him deeply and will forever feel the space he filled.

Ricardo's laughter, loyalty, and love will continue to echo in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Pallbearers will be Santos Escalante, Ricardo Jr., Eric Gonzalez, Nate Gonzalez, Maya Escalante, Eugene Vidrio, Martin Escalante, PJ Montañez, and Noah Escalante.
