Just wanting to send condolences from the Hepner family.  We grew up with Ricky in Raisin City and Caruthers.  I remember he was friends and in FFA with my cousins.  May he rest in peace and may the Lord bring you all comfort in these difficult times.  Deepest sympathy The Hepner Family.

Ricky I will always hold in my the heart the time at the family Christmas gathering. When we spoke you had said “my dog drove me to town today.”.  I replied really? the day  I drew your name for gift exchange i pondered “is this a joke?” Your list: dog food, dog treats, dog toys and shoes.. I asked you if it was a joke, you replied “i told you my dog drove me to town today” and laughed.  

You will always be missed and we will always have you in our hearts… your tia Annabelle and John Mendoza

Cousin Ricky, 
Every time we’d see each other at family gatherings we’d talk about your amazing dog that could drive! Lol! I loved hearing your stories. I couldn’t even believe it when I actually did see a dog behind the wheel at a shopping center. I told you all about it and even shared the picture I had taken of it. We laughed and I became a believer! You would tell me about your cat, Chico, too! Oh, the laughter that we’d share over our pets. 

Your laughter and infectious smile will always be remembered. 

You were your dad’s BEST FRIEND! I hope you know how much you are loved and how much you’ll be missed! 

Thank you for your presence at some special events with our family members. Especially, for being there for my Joey’s  graduation party this past June. It was special and you were there despite your pain and hardship. I will treasure that forever. 

Rest easy and know that you will live in the hearts of many people. 



           Cousin  Ricky, although we really didn't hang around much I always looked forward to seeing you at OUR Family gatherings. It was always a pleasure to share a table with you  and while enjoying our enjoying the Food I enjoyed our Conversations especially the one that included your Dog. 
          Your stories were always different but nothing beat the time when you paused and giggled and mentioned my dog didn't make it today because he had a meeting with the President. I always just wondered what you were going to say next but that took the cake, and to my surprise I could not stop nodding and Laughing so hard and that is why those are the moments I have always cherished. It’s selfish of us to be jealous of the angels, for it is the angels in heaven that get to share one of earth’s kindest souls. It was Ricardo that taught many of us to appreciate our life, our families, and you could always make time for friends. I never met anyone like Ricardo, he could catch lightning in a bottle and share it with the world. Ricardo saw much good in people and treated everyone as equals. What many people didn’t know about Ricardo was, Ricardo told the most amazing fables. Lessons in each tale that would have you walking away with peace and love in your heart. Tales of prevalence between good and evil. 
Now it hurts me, it hurts to hear Ricardo’s voice in my head when I really want is to hear his voice amongst us but, we can’t anymore. 
What I wouldn’t give to share a meal again, or treat him out to the Casino, or relax under a tree to listen to one of his stories. 
Ricardo will be honored in this life and in the next, for it was he who shared more than the written words, he brought them to life and gave them meaning. 
We love you Ricky, we will be missing you.

     Loving Memories last a Lifetime, nd to me one the most dearest is that of Ricky as a child.  Many Years on Christmas Eve when my Brother Armando and his loving wife Connie and daughter Silvia together with Ricky he would announce ok everyone I'm going to sing to Grandma &  Grandpa. With all of us surrounding him he would began and say Ok Shhhhh this is one of my Favorite songs Grandma and he  would sing Felix Navidad. 
       Ricky was our nephew and we loved him very dearly, and he will surely be missed. And as if was yesterday we always reminisce of the many times we bumped into him at the Casino,. Never did it fail that at first glance feeling his warm hug he would ask me where's my Tio Joe, and scrolling him I would say how about me I'm your TIA, at the same telling him I know, I know pointing to him you just wanna mess with him "Huhh" and he the same lives to joke with you Mijo! 
    We will never forget YOU wuth your Soft Smile and will always hold you dear in OUR hearts! Beloved Nephew Ricky!!

Ricky will be missed, I will miss all his stories he used to tell about his dog, if you know Ricky, then you know what I'm talking about.  He always called me fly since I was a little girl, I never understood why, but I always expected it, and will miss it... we love you and I know he's with aunt Connie smiling down on us. 

I have fond memories of Ricky when he would accompany my dad Eusebio to the auction to view & buy cattle in Easton.  They would then go to buy hamburgers.  My dad really enjoyed Ricky’s company.

I remember when I first met your brother,  we had become friends at FPC, and you invited me to your house. Your beautiful mom was, welcoming and your brother Ricky, he was acting silly with you.
