Today I was thinking about you and how you were always there for me.
I cried when I read my messages to you because it reminded me of how close we were.
I sometimes wish I could hear your voice but for now I am reminded everyday of how lucky I was.
To have an amazing father.

Dear Dad,
My life has changed in so many ways and I wish you here so we could talk in person.
I got divorced and I am living a completely different life.
I am now living for me and my kids and I do not have any regrets.
I wish he would have tried harder to make it work but he couldn't and I got tired of waiting and waiting.
Life is too short and I now realize that we choose the way we live.
I have chosen to be happy and to try to make my kids happy.
Got tired of trying to make him happy and now it's my turn to live.
Zach is going off to college now and Mia is all grown up.

Dear Dad, 
Today it has been two years since we last spoke in person.  How I miss your voice my father. I wish sometimes that I would have taken you on more vacations.  My family and I had so much fun with you and mom.  I am lucky to have experienced  so many laughs with you.  I will never forget all the wonderful memories laughing at your jokes and enjoying all of your story telling.  I am glad that you became my best friend because I knew that I could trust you.  It was great always talking with you over the phone because you made me feel secure and confident when I was afraid.  Thank you Dad for being such an amazing role model for all of us.  I do miss you very much and I know one day we will be together again.  I promise that in the meantime I will always make you proud.

Dearest Dad,
How I miss you every day.  Hearing your voice would bring me comfort.  I remember when I needed someone to talk to you that I called you on the phone and you answered every time.  I am such a lucky daughter to have had such a wonderful friendship with my father.  Today, I feel your presence surrounding me when I feel alone or weak.  I try to remember all that you have taught me to make me a better person.  Life is so hard sometimes.  The pressures of life make me feel tired at times and I wish you were here with me so that your advice would give me comfort.  I try to think of what you would say to motivate me when I feel down.  You would say something like, " Do your best my daughter and never give up on your dreams."  I miss you Dad and when I hear your name -  I smile with pride because I know how lucky I was to have you in my life.  Our friendship was special because you were my best friend.  I could always count on you and I know that you loved me unconditionally.  Dad I continue to strive to make you proud always.  I love you and miss you my wonderful father, my best friend, my Dad.
