Richard will be remembered as a man of steady devotion and quiet courage—hard-working, honest, and loyal in the ways that matter most. He carried himself with wisdom and thoughtfulness, offering kindness and compassion that made others feel seen and valued. Beloved and deeply cherished, Richard’s presence was a source of strength and comfort to those who knew him.
An adventurous spirit drew Richard to the mountains, where he found joy in running and hiking, and in the simple peace of the outdoors. He loved camping and taking trips to Yosemite and Big Sur, and he especially treasured time spent with family—most of all with his grandbabies. Faith was central to his life; he loved the Lord, and he loved to sing. In every season, Richard was truly one of a kind.
Richard is survived by his spouse, Joanne Robinson; his son, John Robinson (Debbie Robinson); his grandson, Dustin Robinson (Nora Robinson); his grandson, Chad Robinson; his great granddaughter, Haley Robinson; his great granddaughter, Athena Morales; his great grandson, Anthony Morales Jr.; his son-in-law, Michael Seidler; his grandson, Mikey Seidler Jr.; his grandson, Jimmy Seidler; his granddaughter, Hollie Maroon; his granddaughter, Shawna Maroon; his great granddaughter, Izabella Chavez; his great granddaughter, Ellie Padilla; his great grandson, Lawrence Maroon; and his great granddaughter, Layla Villa. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Seidler.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721, on September 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, on September 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
