Robert Earl Baglin passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at the age of 94, in Peoria, Arizona. Born on July 13, 1932, in Los Angeles, California, Robert lived a remarkable life defined by devotion, courage, and grace.
He dedicated 62 years of his life to serving in God’s Kingdom—spending 40 years as a devoted pastor with the United Pentecostal Church and 22 additional years faithfully ministering in various capacities. Through his deep faith, compassion, and unwavering dedication, he touched countless lives and guided many along a spiritual path.
A proud United States Army veteran, Robert served valiantly on the front lines during the Korean War. His service to his country remained a lifelong source of honor and an important pillar of his legacy.
Faith stood at the very center of Robert's existence. Following more than six decades of ministry, his profound love for God and desire to serve others remained the guiding light of his character. One of his most frequent expressions of gratitude was simply, “God has been so good to me.” His favorite Scripture, which sustained him through all seasons of life, was Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bernice Baglin; his wives, Ruth Baglin and Joyce Barnes Baglin; and his grandson, Jared Teel.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his children: Rebecca Green; Gary Barnes and spouse Juanita Barnes; Rachel Weidner and spouse William Weidner; Ruth Amundson and spouse Greg Amundson; and Regina Teel and spouse Rick Teel. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Baglin and spouse Levette Baglin, as well as his nephew, Kendall Baglin, and niece, Shanna Gregg.
His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Paul Green Jr., Katie Marxer, Jennifer Freeman, Deanna Eccles, David Barnes, Nathan Weidner, Ashtyn Grimaldi, Conner Amundson, Michael Amundson, Caden Teel, and Erica Amundson; his 17 great-grandchildren: Logan Booker, Alexis Green, Taylor Morales, Gentry Green, Trevin Eccles, Trystan Booker, Riley Booker, Rory Barnes, Amiyah Green, Lucille Barnes, Melvin Green, Regan Freeman, Jackson Freeman, Addison Green, Clark Weidner, Cole Weidner, and Enzo Grimaldi; and his great-great-grandson, Myles Morales.
Robert's journey was marked by steadfast faith, noble service, and a deep, enduring love for his family and community. His decades in the pulpit, his defense of his country, and the warmth he shared with his loved ones will forever remain a cherished legacy.
