My condolences to the family. Coach Davidson was a good person and took the time to help us win State Rifle Championships multiple times. The trips back to Ohio were always the best. His way of explaining things and patience when working with a butch of HS kids was the best. He helped groom many young men and women that made a better world for all. Last I saw Coach was in 2003 when I was back from overseas on leave. I'm glad I was able to catch a movie and beer with him. Until we meet again Coach.

I was very sorry to hear of Rob's passing.  He must have been very proud of the life he led and for all of the lives he touched and inspired.  He was a mentor and a coach to me in High School during the late 70's.  He taught humility, kindness and self-discipline.  He set a great example and a true inspiration. I just heard the news today that Robert passed away. He was so loved here at IOT and we are all shocked and sad. We would have attended the funeral but we were not aware of his passing until this afternoon. He will be remembered by our staff as well as his fellow students. He was an inspiration to all of us. He will be forever my favorite student and teacher. I am so sorry for your loss.

Bob was one of the best school administrators I have had the privilege to work with.  He did so much for our school, J.E.Young in Fresno, CA.  He was enthusiastic, compassionate, witty, hard working and believed in his staff to motivate students to reach their academic potentials.  Bob loved roses, making delicious French Onion Soup and yellow pads for collaborating ideas at staff meetings.  He rarely missed work and walked with a fast, brisk pace through the school, always on a mission  to accomplish his next task.  He loved giving tours of the newly remodeled J.E.Young facility, always excited and proud to show off students and staff hard at work. Bob was instrumental in getting J. E. Young accredited with WASC (Western Association of Schools and College), working many long months with the staff, in the process.  He will forever be in our hearts, appreciated and loved for his dedication to education. Staff Member, Melanie Vaughn, instructor at J.E. Young.

Please accept my condolences.  I will always remember cousin Robert with a book in his hand thirsty for knowledge.  He was the smart one in the family always striving to further his education.  Cousin William (Billy) Lee

Bob was an Educator's Educator who inspired teachers and administrators through his creativity,  talent and guidance to help students become more successful learners.  I was one of the Educators who was inspired by Bob.
