He worked at the Fresno Bee for 35 years. He graduated from Immanuel High School in 1952. He married Darlene in 1955 and celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
They had two children Garth and Gayle. Bob enjoyed participating in church ministries, choir and leadership. Also traveling and visiting basball parks. He was a diehard Dodger fan.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Gayle.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church, 9161 N. Maple, Fresno, Ca. 93720 on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am.
