Our condolences to our dear cousins.  I will miss Uncle Bob as well.  I remember fondly his laugh, smile and love of life.  From my childhood I remember the fireworks he and the uncles put on at Grandma's farm.  I remember him always working on some project in his garage.  Many of my memories of Uncle Bob are stories that my mom told us kids of when they were kids and the many pranks, jokes and laughs they all shared growing up.  Love you Uncle Bob and God bless and comfort those whose lives you touched here in this world.

Bob was one of the good guys & I had the pleasure of working along side him for many years.  Someone you could depend on, laugh with, commiserate with and all the time a pleasure to be around. We could both get cranky - which we did - yet always laugh about it later. I missed that when our paths took different directions.  The "girls" were the pride and joy and may you all have comfort knowing he is in a better place now. 
Bob and Juanita, may you be together again and have eternal peace.

I never got to meet you, but I am sure you are as sweet as your daughter is. You lived a good long life and had the best care from your daughter. So glad you got to spend it together as she will treasure the extra memories of your final days. I am sorry you had to leave us, but RIP, as you are no longer suffering. You're a good man.

To a man who let me, my sister and twin brothers call him Uncle Bob even though we were not his. He use to let us go over and spend time with the family and even go to Grandma Leavitt's to have fun.
I remember calling the job that him and my dad shared as bosses and asking to speak to my dad and he would tell me: "Who do you want and what is his name? Then I would tell him I want to talk to my dad and he would say there is many dads here or what is his name?" I would tell him his name is Bill or dad and he would laugh or tell me are you sure you want him? He would laugh more and hand the phone to Bill Yost (dad).
There is so much more he would do for us kids and I know we all had fun being at this house. Also would like to say thank you to his family for all the fun times we had together.
Uncle Bob you will be missed but not forgotten.

He will be greatly missed but I have memories that will last my lifetime.  He welcomed me into his home practically everyday when I was a kid. I loved when he came home from work with those huge flat pieces of rainbow taffy.  He was a wonderful man. RIP Uncle Bob. Love you.

Uncle Bob was a precious part of my life and growing up. He taught me to fly fish when I was 7 years old. He taught me how to read a stream and be aware of many more things around me. The camping trips our families took to Chiquita are very special and vivid memories from my childhood and some of my favorite times. I,too, loved the mischievous twinkle he would get in his eye and his infectious "tee, hee hee" laughter. I'm so glad he was able to come to Mom (Leona) 95th birthday party. It meant so much to Mom and it was great to see him again. I know it cost him in fatigue yet it was a great gift that he gave to all of us.  
    I love you Uncle Bob. I'm so glad you were part of my life.

Today is Memorial Day and while most people will be honoring our veteran heroes, it occurs to me that most of my personal heroes are not laid to rest in a military cemetery.  I have fond memories of each of my aunts and uncles who have passed.  When I think of Uncle Bob, I think of electronics in the garage and a HAM radio.  Remotely controlled airplanes and stories of "free flight" planes when the uncles were younger, chasing them across the miles.  An easygoing manner and a kind face.  Tinkering with cars and building recumbent bikes.  Going to Kochergan's parking lot on Brawley to run around in the go-karts; the throttle on a pre-set position so us younger kids couldn't go TOO fast!  I will miss you Uncle Bob.  I already do.

Im going to miss you and our trips to the fruit stand and to Covers.  I have so many memories of our time spent together and you and mom will always be in my heart.

A very sad time for me as he was my last grandparent. Papa I will miss you very much. Thankfully I have many many good memories of my time with you and grandma. You two are together now. I think you were ready to go be with your soulmate. Goodbye Papa.....Jasen

Dear Cousins - I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Uncle Bob as being so active and creative; always busy building something, growing something. And I love his smile and hugs. While technology has made our world "smaller", the miles still made it a rare occasion to get to experience those smiles and hugs. I'm so very glad we were able to come down in April and that I got my hug. 

Uncle Bob seemed so perky (he probably hid how tired he really was) and I loved getting to hear him talk about his car and his bikes, his apples and his garden. He laughed and I laughed with him. I will remember him with every bite of his jam that he shared with me.  

I love you, Uncle Bob. I miss you already.
