Bob always had a passion for sports, especially basketball (Edison HS Valley Champs 1950) and tennis, which he played for many years. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from the Air National Guard. He was a postal clerk for 34 years, mainly at Cardwell and Calwa post offices.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Palacios; and brother, Edward.
Bob will be dearly missed by Annabeth, his wife of forty-two years; and by his children Robert and Tim Palacios, Stephanie DuBurg, Robert Harris and Kirsten Ransbury and their spouses and his twelve grandchildren. Bob was the oldest of three brothers. He is survived by his brother, Aurelio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and countless friends have also been blessed by Bob's perpetual smile and laughter.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Newman Center on Saturday, De- cember 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
