Rodney Alan Berryhill

Rod (Papa) took the Stairway to Heaven on Thursday May 4, 2023. Born in Lindsay, California, on June 5, 1958 and moved to San Jose with his parents Don and Bernice Berryhill as an infant. Rod grew up in the San Jose/Campbell area where he graduated from Campbell High School, Class of 1976.

Rod is survived by his partner of 22 years Danielle Roberts, his parents Don and Bernice Berryhill, three sons, Brandon Berryhill of Hollister, Brett Berryhill of Texas and Brian Berryhill of San Jose. His stepson Alex Roberts, and twelve grandchildren, Mathew Smoke, Timmy Enriquez, Ethan Faire, Sammy Enriquez, Bryson Walsh, Owen Berryhill, Avery Berryhill, Declan Walsh, Raelee Robinson, Peyton Berryhill, Jace Berryhill and Dash Berryhill.

He began is career at Amdahl Corporation in 1977, he transitioned to Cisco Systems, then Juniper Networks, Fusion-IO, SanDisk Corporation and Western Digital where he worked when he retired.

Rod had a passion for soccer, as both a player and a coach. He was a 50+ year fan of Indy Car Racing and an avid Home Improvement do it your self'er. He loved music and he loved to travel, weekend getaways and extended cruises were his passion. His favorite place to be was on the beach, he loved to spend his days at his beach house in Oceano (Pismo) CA.
