Rose, a Fresno native was born to Paul and Mary Peterson on September 28, 1920. She passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was a graduate of Fowler High School. Rose was married on March 26, 1947 in Reno, Nevada, to Charles Terzian of Fresno and they had two daughters.
She was a special mom who will be missed.
Rose was an active member of the Armenian American Citizen's League since the early 1960's, where she held various offices. She was also a member of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church Women's Trinity Guild for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles in 1978; and her younger brother, Paul Jr. in 1988.
Rose is survived by her two daughters, Joan Yates and her husband Gene and Janice Walker and her husband Harland; her younger sister, Helen Sarkisian; and her nephew, Sam Sarkisian, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A private service will be held.
Remembrances may be sent to the donor's favorite charity.
