Rosemary Anne Bosch, age 96, passed away peacefully with her family nearby on Monday, February 6, 2023. Rosemary was born December 24, 1926, in North Chicago, Illinois to the parents of John and Dorothy Otis. Rosemary was a college graduate of the Cadet Nursing program and dedicated her career to serving our veterans. While raising 5 children, Rosemary worked full time as a Registered Nurse in hospitals and medical facilities around the country. Rosemary moved to Fresno, Ca in 1973. Rosemary worked for the VA hospital in Fresno until she retired. Once in retirement, Rosemary volunteered for St Anthony of Padua where she spent Thursday mornings in prayer time and Fridays in Adoration prayer. It is evident that 'taking care of people' was a true calling in her life.
Rosemary has a great love for travelling and she went on many trips with her sisters. Rosemary loved her Club 55 group and never missed a luncheon at Pardini's. Her favorite place to be was with her grandchildren and always had a drawer full of cookies.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael Bosch and his wife, Debi, Robert Bosch and his wife Leti, Timothy Bosch and his wife Janice, son Gerald, and Cathy Robbins and her husband Michael; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who endearingly referred to her as Grandma Ro. She was preceded in death by her parents and dear sisters, Lucille, Helen and Dorothy.
A private mass and burial will be held for the immediate family. Arrangements have been made by Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home located at 836 E. Nees Ave. Fresno, Ca 93720. The family wishes to thank Bristol Hospice, Carmel Village Assisted Living and Memory Care for their compassionate care of Rosemary and support given to her family.
