Ruben Anthony Quintero

Ruben Anthony Quintero was born October 18, 1978, in Fresno, California to Teresa Piacentini and fathered by Joe Piacentini. Ruben entered Heaven on March 18, 2024. He will be missed by dad Joe Piacentini, sister Aundrea Piacentini, brother Steven Rivera and niece Juliani Rivera. Along with his many friends whom he considered as his chosen family.

Ruben worked for FUSD for 15 plus years. Most currently as a campus safety assistant. Ruben was heavily involved at Yosemite with the afterschool program, coaching volleyball, and this last season led the football team to win their first championship game! He was a role model, mentor, and friend to all the students, current and former as well as to the staff.

Ruben loved to BBQ for his family and friends, he would experiment with different seasonings and sauces. On any given Saturday all were welcome to stop by for some jalapeño poppers, drinks, and laughs. Ruben was described as a trustworthy confidant by all.

There is a quote that brings comfort to the loss of Ruben, “When you say his name you are not reminding me that he died but you are letting me know that you remember that he lived”. Those of us who know Ruben knew he absolutely lived.

Ruben leaves a legacy of laughter, kindness and love that will never be forgotten and will always be missed.
