It is with great sadness, but deep gratitude for her life, that we share the passing of our mother, Ruby Jewel Daddato. Ruby passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on September 28, 2024. Ruby was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Ruby was born on June 22, 1937, to James Carl and Ida Mae Fraley in Lemoore, CA. Ruby was the second eldest of six children and grew up rooted in her faith that was carried throughout her life. She married the love of her life, Vito Daddato in 1954 to whom she was married to for 60 blessed years until his passing in 2014. Together, they raised three loving children, Mark Daddato, Steven Daddato, and Vicki Franklin. Her home was always a gathering place for family and filled with love, laughter, and her great cooking. Ruby’s warmth, kindness and tender heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her steadfast faith was a guiding light for her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, and fond memories that her family will always cherish. Ruby will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on through the many lives she touched. Ruby’s family finds peace knowing she has been welcomed home into eternal rest.
Ruby cherished her family deeply and is survived by her children, Mark Daddato and wife, Debra, Steven Daddato, Vicki Franklin and husband, Jeff, sister Phyllis O’Conner, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
