Rudy N. Quintana

Rudy passed away on February 18,2025 at the age of 97 years old. He was born December 13,1927 in Fresno California, and preceded by parents, Jose and Amparo Quintana. He is also preceded by brothers George, Albert and Frank Quintana, and sister Emily Nieto.

Rudy was married 66 years to the love of his life Sylvia, before her passing in 2021. He is survived by daughter Cynthia Perez and husband David. Sons, Ron Juarez, Randy Quintana and wife Monica, and Rodney Quintana and wife Jana, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Rudy is also survived by brothers Carlos and Ben Quintana. Sisters Josie, Mary Lou, and Rachel.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a long time member of the VFW Post 8900. He was employed with the City of Fresno for 35 years. Rudy was very active in The Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish. He served as President of Our Lady of Guadalupe Society. President for The Federation Mariana De Guadalupe. Grand Knight and 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus 840.

Rudy had strong religious beliefs, and unrelentless love for family values. He organized and cooked for many family and community functions and events. He had the ability to make you feel at home and shared in song, music and laughter. Thank you, Rudy.
