Rudy my brother we will miss you, especially at the poker games, the trips to the casinos, family gatherings and most of all you sitting on the porch at dads. Dad will be very sad and lonely without you but he knows you are not suffering anymore and is with Mom and Grandma. Rest In Peace with love always your sis. It's not good-bye it's until we meet again.

To My Cousin Rudy,
You served our country during the Vietnam War. It was not a war that could be easily fought, as our country realized years too late. It took a toll on so many brave soldiers, like Uncle Tuttie and yourself.

I’ll always keep the memories of our low-riding days close to me. I still remember the midget races you raced for Ray Cruz; all our family parties we shared, and all the jokes; and those infamous card games. Those were some good times. I love you, cousin. May you now be at peace. You suffered so long with your illness. You were so brave. I’m only thankful you are suffering no more, and that Aunt Irene will be there waiting for you. You will not be alone. There is some selfish part of me that wishes you would still be here with us, but that is only wishful thinking.

Rudy was always a sweet guy with me and always gave me his sweetest smile with a "Hi cuz". I am so sorry that he was so ill these last few months. I met Rudy in high school (Fresno High). He had the most beautiful eyes, he was a sweet heart and very funny. I remember his car with hub caps called bullets and when he lost one. I wished I would have kept in contact. My deepest sympathy to all his loved ones.
