My condolences goes out to Terri and Will and the rest of the family. Rusty was my good friend, compadre and a brother to me. We have worked together for 12 years and enjoyed the weekly lunches we had together and the many talks we had about each other family. I will forever miss him and will never forget the times we spent together. May he RIP!!!!!!!!

Rusty was one of the first kids I met when I moved to Fresno  in 1965. Second only to the little 3 year-old girl who painted my front porch right before I moved in across the street from them. I believe her name was Suzanne.  Rusty was also my first kiss in kindergarten and he was my model when I got my first hair cutting job at Fantastic Sam's in 1979.  He was a really good friend and I 'll never forget him . To Joanne,  Suzanne, David , Donnie,  Teri and  Will I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know what made me Google him today. I worked with Rusty for eleven years until I moved to Colorado. He was a great Manager and always had a sense of humor about everything. I will always remember the many Popeye's chicken dinners and conversations we shared in his office sometimes twice a week. Most of those conversations included him talking about the son he was so proud of and his wife that made his day. I will miss him and his sense of humor but the memories of chicken dinners will remain.
