Born on December 16, 2003, to Kenneth Wood and Amanda Walton, Ryley was a kind, gentle, and thoughtful young woman, deeply loved by her family, friends, and teachers. Her quiet strength, sweet nature, and compassionate heart left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Ryley found joy in life’s simple pleasures—listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and imagining the many places she hoped to explore one day. She had a special love for animals and devoted part of her youth to volunteering at the SPCA, offering care and comfort to those who needed it most.
She was a steady presence and a source of comfort: a warm hug, a patient listener, a kind word offered without hesitation. Ryley had a remarkable capacity for grace and forgiveness, even in difficult moments. Through her actions and her presence, she quietly taught us how to live with compassion, to be present, and to love with an open heart.
Ryley is survived by her devoted parents, Kenneth and Amanda, her beloved sister, Sheridan, grandparents Betty Wood, Bill Walton, Jane McGunn, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Wood.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Ryley will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sierra Pines Church, located at 40855 Covey Ct, Oakhurst, CA 93644.
