Sandra Lee Reid

In 1957 I married Les Reid (the single most important act of my life).

Les provided me with everything dear to me:

My children: Rebecca, Christopher, Jennifer, and a truly wonderful life.

They in turn provided us with our greatest happiness,

Our two grandchildren

Madison and Kane

Their fathers, Mikael and Lars, whom we love dearly.

Our gratitude knows no bounds!

I feel fortunate to have Les and Liz in my life.

My sister Susan is also my best friend.

My nephew Todd is very dear to me.

I was fortunate to have two fathers in my life.

James Phillips was my children’s wonderful grandpa. . .

My mother was such a constant and loving part of my life. I am deeply grateful.

We moved to Fresno in 1963 and were “adopted” by the Scambray family,

Who provided us with wonderful times and extended family.

It’s been said about me that I have to have the last word.

It’s true … this is it.

On my request there will be no formal services.

I hope close friends along with my family will get together

over food and wine and talk about how wonderful I was."

The family would like to thank the caregivers, staff and community at The Terraces of San Joaquin Gardens for the wonderful care and friendship they provided Sandra.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Hinds Hospice for their compassion, care and support to both Sandra and family.
