My deepest condolences to Sarah’s family and friends. She was one of my close childhood friends growing up in El Monte, attending Rio Hondo Elementary. I remember having my first sleepover at her house and her mom ordering pizza for us and making us root beer floats, we were about 11 years old but I’ll cherish every memory I have of her. I wish we would have kept in touch. We were about 20 years old when I lost contact. I’ll always remember her beautiful smile and those big brown eyes.  She would always wear this over sized navy blue sweater and elastic head bands on her straight hair, I remember her huge smile with her braces still on. Going to her aunt and uncles coffee shop they had opened in Azusa. Sarah, thank you for all the great memories! Fly high beautiful.
