Sharon Midori Evenden passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 after a long and brave battle with lymphoma. She was the loving wife to her husband of 36 years, Randy Evenden. She also is the sister to Glenn Shiozaki of Bellflower.
She was born in Los Angeles on July 1, 1951 and grew up in Dairy Valley, now known as Cerritos. Her parents, who preceded her in death, Yahiko and Kiyoko Shiozaki worked tirelessly as chicken ranchers and sold eggs from their farm.
Sharon had a huge heart and all that knew her always felt her love and compassion. She was always thinking about others and showed it in so many ways through word and deed.
Sharon will be sorely missed by all who knew her, including many cousins, nieces and nephews, aunties, uncles and friends. Randy is ever grateful to them all for their unwavering support during this difficult time, especially this last year.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 am. Please note, attire is “casual-dress”.
