Shirley was born in Washington State on September 23, 1938 and passed away at her home in Fresno on June 16, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Britton; daughter Pamela Clark and her husband Mark; son Scott Britton and his wife Tracy; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Friends Community Church, 5688 North First Street, Fresno.
