Shizuko Domoto

She married Ed Kazuo Domoto on October 25, 1941, and enjoyed a wonderful 67 year marriage.

Shizuko was an active member of the Fresno Buddhist Church, North Fresno Community Church, and the Fresno Fujinkai.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed; her brothers, Roy and Mitsuo Furukawa; and son-in-law, Richard Nakaguchi.

She is survived by her three children, Dr. Gerald Domoto and his wife Margie, Louise Nakaguchi, and Elaine Kamimoto and her husband Sho; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Shelley, Russell, Darren, and Debbie; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Logan, Clara, Gavin, Madelyn, Robbie, Kaylee, Nathan, Noah, Taryn, Taylin, Clarendon, Camdon, Lauren, and Sara.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jeff Aoki; Dr. Kevin Boran; and the medical staff at the Cardiac Evaluation Center of the Fresno Heart and Surgical Center, for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Lisle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at the Fresno Betsuin Family Dharma Center, on Friday, April 3, 2015, at 1:00 pm, located at 2690 E. Alluvial, Fresno, California.
