We are here to remember and celebrate our dear Suzanne Bravo, who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 79. Suzanne’s story began in New York on September 25, 1946. As the only girl among five children—growing up alongside her brothers, Dominic, Anthony, Robert, and Kevin—she developed a special strength and held a truly unique place in their hearts. Though her roots were in New York, life later brought her here to Fresno, where she continued to build her beautiful legacy and touch the lives of everyone around her.
Suzanne's life was defined by her profound dedication to caring for her family and others; she earned her licensure in registered nursing. She went on to work as an RN for many years, splitting her distinguished career between Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and the VA Hospital. Even after retiring from nursing and relocating to the peaceful shores of Bass Lake, Suzanne's passion for helping people never faded. She poured her heart into supportive services, volunteering her time for a couple of years at Manna House, a dedicated local nonprofit, where she continued to touch lives and support those in need.
Outside of work, Suzanne was incredibly creative; she enjoyed making handcrafted quilts, and for a time she enjoyed creating stained-glass works as a fun hobby. Above all, her greatest accomplishment was her family. She is survived by her children, Mark, Dominique, and Dana, along with a large, blessed legacy of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720, US, on August 8th, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
