

Sylvia was profoundly devoted to her faith, her beloved husband, her loving family and friends. She was the rock and heart of her family and community.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rudy Quintana and her son, Ron Juarez, daughter, Cindy Perez and husband David, son Randy Quintana and wife Monica, son Rodney Quintana and wife Jana. Gram had 9 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jess Bosquez and sister, Mary Alejandre.
Sylvia was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and Sacred Heart Guadalupe Society for over 60 years. She was also a member of the Y.L.I. Ramona Institute 127. She was part of the Grand Institute Y.L.I. of California where she held many offices for both organizations. She was the light of the Guadalupe Society and Y.L.I. In 1957, she was one of the founding members of the Guadalupe Society. She was also the founder of many fundraisers including the Black and White Charity Ball. She received many awards including the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, Volunteer Service Award for recognition and appreciation of her commitment to strengthening our Nation and for making a difference through volunteer service.
