Born on August 29, 1953, in Fresno, California, Terry was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School. Throughout her life, she lived in Redlands, Bakersfield, and Visalia before returning to Fresno, where she spent the last 21 years of her life.
Terry was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose kindness and compassion touched everyone around her. She was known for her generous heart, her devotion to her family, and the joy she found in bringing loved ones together. Nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Destini Baker of Fresno, her son Tyler Garner and daughter-in-law Samantha Garner of Yokuts Valley, her sister Sandra Salcido and brother-in-law Chris Salcido of Clovis; her beloved grandson, Gage Baker; and her cherished granddaughters Hazel, Charlotte, and Stella Garner. She is also survived by nephews Christopher and Cameron Salcido along with many other nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard D. Silva Jr. and John A. Silva, both of Fresno, as well as her parents, Richard and Myrtle Silva.
Terry will be remembered for her dedication to her family and her loved ones, her hilarious sharp wit, and her ability to give wise council to her loved ones anytime, day or night.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Terry's honor be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
