He had a lifetime love of body building and competed in many body building competitions from the age of 16. He was also a proud correctional officer at Kern Valley State Prison.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Rosie and Tomas Acosta Sr.; sister Reyna Acosta Don Diego; niece Nadia and nephew Thomas; and numerous brothers and sisters in green.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Wed., April 9, 2014 at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
