He was born July 14, 1948 in Coalinga, California where his parents George and Doris Lacey were the creators of the well known family diner Lacey's Café. His mother was a teacher in Coalinga while Thomas was growing up. Thomas' love of the 49er's football and Giant's baseball teams lives on with his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his brother, Michael Lacey; sister-in-law, Nell; nephew, Paul; nieces, Kathleen, Natalie and Emma; his Aunt Helen Lacey; and cousins Charles, Mary, Joan, and Jim.
