Tom graduated from Bullard High School and worked as an air conditioning heating mechanic for Fresno Unified School District for 11 years, and spent another 20 years in the industry in and around Fresno.
He loved golf (a former member at Belmont Country Club), cooking for friends and family, weekend trips in his RV, spending time at the cabin at Donner Lake, and his two dogs Dixie and Nute.Tom will always be remembered for his quick wit and humor. He was loved and will be missed.Tom was preceded in death by his father Bill Nute.He leaves behind his wife, Theresa; children, Tom and Lea; mother, Dorothy Nute; sister, Sarah Pinley; brother, Michael Gerboth; uncle, John Nute; aunt, Joyce Sani; and many much loved first, second, and third cousins as well as numerous friends.
A social gathering will be held to remember Tom at the Manhattan Steakhouse, 1731 West Bullard Avenue, Fresno CA, Saturday March 2, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
