He was married to his wife, Fay, for 40 years, until she died in 1984. He is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Sandy and Phil Baxter, Jan and Tim Nord, and Julie and Robby Wills, eight grandchildren: Matt and Josh Nord, Randy, Amy, Sam, and Phillip Baxter, and Jon and Mikey Wills, thirteen great grandchildren, and three sisters: Mary Beckstead, Thelma McDonald, and Rose Smith.
After serving in the Navy during World War II, Tom owned Hood Studio in Fresno, taking pictures of babies, graduating seniors, and weddings for over forty years. Tom enjoyed his work, but he lived for his family and his Lord.
A family graveside service was held.
