She will be remembered with enduring respect and deep affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life reflected a quiet strength—marked by bravery in the face of life’s changes, and guided by a gentle, compassionate spirit that offered comfort without fanfare. In the ways that mattered most, she was devoted and steadfast, meeting others with patience, thoughtfulness, and a kind-hearted grace that left a lasting impression. Her wisdom was not loud or showy, but steady and reassuring—something family and friends came to rely upon and cherish.
Veda Rose Baughn is survived by her children, Roy Baughn Jr., Gary Baughn, Lenora Osback, Della Walker, and Sandra Spurling. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Baughn, and by her parents, Ruben Glazebrook and Della Perkett. Veda Rose Baughn also leaves 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S. Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, on August 4, 2026 at 10:00 am.
