She was preceded in death by Russell, her husband of 64 years; her parents; and four siblings.
Veda is survived by her sister, Nancy Mason; her three children, Thurman Bell and his wife Jenny, Larry Bell and his wife Karen, Deborah Patterson and her husband Phil; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
