

Vee, as she liked to be called, was born in Ada, Oklahoma on October 14, 1925 85 years ago to Elmer and Blanch Willis. In 1943, she moved to California to work in war time employment.
In 1946, she met the one love of her life, Rex Tingle. They married in 1948, making their home in White Pines, California, which was the beginning of a long career as a homemaker.
She moved to Fresno in 1952, where their three children were born, and later moved to Clovis. Vee spent many happy years working on her house and in her garden and yard of two and a half acres, complete with horses, dogs, cats and other animals. She also enjoyed traveling the United States, Europe, Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii.
Vee and Rex attended Peoples Church as charter members and they were greeters for 25 years. She loved the Lord and her church family.

In addition to her parents, Vee was preceded in death by her brothers; Aubrey and Elton Willis; and sisters, Loraine, Mildred and Naomi.
Vee is survived by her loving husband, Rex of 63 years; she is the loving mother of Deborah and Julie Tingle of Napa, Ca., and Preston Tingle and his wife Zebora of Fresno. She is the beloved and cherished grandmother of two, Esther and Kamron Tingle; and beloved aunt to nieces and nephews.
