Verna - You will be most missed by us, but not by God.

Dear Family, We knew Verna.  She was a fine lady, so precise in all she did.  She had so much kindness and courage too.  May her life speak to all who knew her.  We pray for mercy and compassion from the Lord!

Verna was always cheerful and a real blessing in Sunday School.  She often had interesting comments on the lesson.

Bill and Verna are rejoicing together in Heaven with so many from among us who are already there.  We appreciate so much the great contributions when they were here in the Ambassador Class.

Verna reflected God's Grace in her everyday living.  She was a consistent inspiration to me.

Verna was a wonderful person and every Sunday morning in the VMC Ambassador Class it was a blessing to see Verna and Bill and their love for each other and for the Lord.  Now they are together again in Heaven.  We pray for peace and comfort for their family.

We will always remember your beautiful mother and the wonderful times we spent together watching on Saturday mornings the Operas from the Metropolitan Opera House.  Also the times we shared in the Ambassador Sunday School Class. Love and blessings to her dear family.

Bill and Verna were a great pair. They will always be remembered walking up the corridor from the Fireside (now Family) Room to the foyer at Ventura Missionary Church in Ventura, pretending to argue about "The Kid." Bill often met a few of us at McD's for morning coffee, and bragged about Verna's care for her family. Now they are holding hands again, walking down a better corridor.

 Great memories of your mom; she was a light in our Ambassador Sunday School Class--always ready with a comment (mostly funny).  We know you will miss her. May God give you and your family peace.
