Mom was raised in a family of 11 children She and her twin brother Vernin (still with us living in Alabama) were the babies.
Mom married her high school sweetheart on August 7tth, 1948. Kenneth passed away on November 14th, 2016.
She wore many hats throughout her life. Most important one. She was a great and loving mother to Ron and I. It was an honor to be raised by her.
She worked as a grocery clerk, bank teller, bookkeeper, teachers aid, bus driver, and school yard supervisor. Mom was an excellent seamstress, quilter (she made more than a dozen beautiful quilts something she learned from her mother) and a talented artist. She stayed fit, loved exercise and long power walks, the outdoors and animals. She kept her walks up through the first part of her 90’s.
Mom was funny with a sense of humor and loved by many. She is missed already.
