

Vic passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the age of 88. He was born in Canoga Park, Ca. on May 19, 1923. He enlisted into the U.S. Navy after the bombing of Pearl Harbor where he served in the Pacific with the 59th Seabee Battalion through the end of the war.
Vic attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he met his future wife, Peggy Angevine. Vic and Peggy were married in Idaho where he worked for the Boise-Fayette Lumber Co. Their 11th company move in 11 years took Vic, Peggy and their four children to Porterville, Ca. Soon after he accepted a position with Taylor Wheeler Builders which brought the family to Fresno. In 1971 he founded Metropolition Builders with Peggy as his right hand. In 1988 after 17 years in business for himself, he retired.
In retirement Vic and Peggy remained active in the Episcopal Anglican Church, they volunteered with the Community Hospital Service Alliance, traveled often and were involved in the Masonic Order Eastern Star. Vic also enjoyed the many activities at the Clovis Senior Center.
Vic was preceded in death by Peggy, his wife of 53 years; and his great-grandson, Liam Muzny.
Vic is survived by his children, Larry and Bonnie Muzny, Randy and Bonnie Muzny, Vicki Muzny and Mark and Susan Muzny; grandchildren, Chris Muzny and his wife Marisol. Lauryn and her husband Matt Spenhoff, Alysa Muzny, Michelle and Melissa Muzny; and Vic's three sisters, Emily Wilson, Vivian Grischott and Grace Wemmer.
Visitation will be at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 4147 E. Dakota Ave. in Fresno on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Marjaree Mason Center, 1600 M. St., Fresno, 93721 or to Donors favorite charity.
