Her favorite hobbies in her younger days were playing softball and cruising in her delta ‘88. She went by Sister Vicky, Nina Vicky, or just plain ol’ Vicky. She was the matriarch of this family and there will never be another like her.
She started working at McDonald’s the 2nd day it opened back on February 18th 1980 and worked there for the next 37 years. Her career with McDonald’s provided her the opportunity to help train and mentor employees and open up stores in Chicago, Florida, Los Angeles and numerous central valley locations.
She did not have any biological children however, she raised 2 children since their birth and they were hers (Raymond Montoya & Gianna Montoya).
She had the honor of being the godmother to 30 other children and multiple other nieces & nephews that called her Nina and they too became her godchildren. Her greatest fulfillment in life was being able to uphold her father’s wishes of keeping the family together. She loved her family dearly and would like to thank everyone for taking care of her whenever she needed it.
She enjoyed doing yard work, working on cars, camping, dancing, bbqing and spending time with family. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She brought light wherever she went and her kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her love, laughter, selflessness, extreme generosity and beautiful spirit will stay with us forever.
Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping the Perez family in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging period.
