He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and returned to complete his education at Fresno State before teaching at Del Mar Elementary for 30 years.
In his younger days, Vincent was an accomplished painter, baker, and avid fisherman.
He was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, head usher for Sacred Heart Church, and American Legion member.
Vincent was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann, of 66 years, and their children Anna Lisa, Carl, Louisa, and her husband Ali, as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
