It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Vincent J. Solorio, who left us on February 21, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on October 12, 1939, in Madera, California. He lived a life full of love, dedication, and hard work.
Vince graduated from Madera High School in 1958. He served as a Reservist in the National Guard and briefly worked with the Madera County Sheriff's Department. Vince dedicated most of his career to Heublein Wines, where he worked as a Winery Foreman for 45 years, contributing significantly to the wine industry and mentored several coworkers.
Vince was married to Mary Lou for 44 years, they lived in Fresno and shared a blended family of 7 children. Vince came from a large family, being one of 13 siblings. He is survived by his siblings Pete Rangel, Rita Hatfield, Mary French, Jessie, Chito, Johnny Muniz and Lucy Combs. Vince and Mary’s seven children include Benjamin Solorio, Christopher Solorio (Bertha), Teresa Charles (David), Cynthia Gallo, Robert Rendon, Stephen Rendon (Ashley) and Ralph Rendon (Christina). Vince also leaves behind 11 amazing grandchildren (from newborn to 27 years old) and 11 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Monday, March 10th at 6 pm, in the chapel at Lisle Funeral Home, located at 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 11th at 10:00 am, St. Anthony of Padua Church, located at 5770 N. Maroa Ave, Fresno, CA 93704. Vincent will be laid to rest following the services at St. Peter's Cemetery at 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Vincent will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and his kind and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
